Anonymous said: Y'know. You say your fics aren't that great. But really. Your characterization is some of the best I've seen, your grammar isn't appalling, your pacing is just right, your perspective is well though out, and your plots are interesting. Your fics are great. I know it's just one opinion, but personally, your fics are among the ones I like best in this fandom. And I'm really, really glad that you're writing them.
Thank you so much. I’m lucky to have readers like you who appreciate my fics. It’s for people like you that I continue writing.
In case you (or anyone) were wondering, the main reason I generally say my fics aren’t very good is because sometimes I feel as if I could’ve worked a little harder or cleaned up the story a bit more. And when I feel that way, it makes me think that I’m almost cheating my readers by not putting in 100% effort. Which then leads me to claim my fics aren’t good.
But thank you again. That’s literally one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me, and I’m so blessed to have readers like you.
the first line:
the “plot twists”:
the “character development”:
remembering that I thought this was good:
realizing I wrote this fic ten minutes ago:
Let Me Be Your Ghost (Rating: T) When a heist goes every kind of wrong and Kaito ends up dying in the hospital, he’s given a choice. He’ll be resurrected for seven days, and if he can get Shinichi to return his feelings during that time, he’ll be given a second chance at life. The problem? He’s wearing the face of a stranger.
you guys are way too nice to me seriously *cries tears of happiness*
